Although the articles do focus heavily on other cultures, countries and the U.S. students can discern what happened in the past, present and what changes or continuity can happen in the future.
TIME for Kids is an excellent resource for your classroom. News is shared about the U.S. as well as countries from other regions of the world. The students can browse through established timelines, a day in the life of a students from another countries and fascinating articles in the news archive.

KIDS.GOV is excellent to access reliable information and current events that are happening. A great way to do a comparison lesson and show change, and continuity from today in the U.S. and other countries.
